Unbelievable, my friends…

I received an invitation from someone with whom I share something like a friendship. From the very first meeting, the man trapped me with sweet talk that completely contradicts his reality. He is stingy in spirit and heart, tight‑fisted in hand ,something I always make sure to remind him of, hoping he would keep his distance.

Anyway, he asked me to join him at a restaurant. I grew suspicious of his invitation and asked plainly:

“Are you the one inviting me? You’re paying the bill?”

With absolute confidence, he said yes.

I asked again, just to secure my position:

“Do I need to fill my wallet with cash?”

He replied, “Just come and fill your stomach with food.”

I surrendered to fate and went.

A sign above the restaurant door read: “One Click.”

What a modern name!

I walked in and saw this quasi‑friend of mine ready to receive me as if he were about to award me a diamond medal. I wasn’t optimistic about his face, which nearly split in half from the width of his smile as he said:
