Recommended AI usage

I am a uni student planning to make some projects in my free time this summer. While I know using AI would help me create "something" out quickly, but that almost garantees I will not really learn anything. I think using AI to say find literature sources or previous related projects for me as a powerful search engine or helping me as simple debugging tool would be helpful without really affecting me learning?
