A simple Time-Line Observation:

CyberSecurity has had a revolution throughout the inception of the internet. Digital security was an option back then, now it is the bare minimum. The approach to Security has transitioned from “responding to any threats detected” to the “Assume-breach” approach, anticipating and designing all systems with the assumption that the system has already been compromised.

Realistically speaking, in the age of AI & Quantum Computing, preventing system break-ins is nearly impossible. But what has been always possible, is to make it as difficult as possible for attackers to successfully take total control of the defenders & preventing a pin into total submission.
