Hey little me,

I know you didn’t always understand why things were so hard. I know there were moments you felt alone, confused, and like you had to be strong way too early. You carried things you shouldn’t have had to carry, and still, you kept going.

I’m so proud of you.👏

Proud of how you endured the silence, the pain, the disappointment. Proud of how you kept showing up even when your heart was tired. You didn’t give up, even when giving up would have been easier. That strength you showed back then is the reason I’m still standing today.

You didn’t always get the love, reassurance, or understanding you deserved but you never lost your ability to feel, to hope, and to try again. And that means everything.

I want you to know that it gets better. Not perfect, but softer. You grow into someone who understands herself more, who speaks up more, who still feels deeply but doesn’t break as easily.

Thank you for holding on. Thank you for surviving the days you thought you wouldn’t make it through.

I see you. I honor you. And I’m forever proud of you.
