Learning coding on an iPad (Python basics), realistic or not?

Hey everyone, I’m thinking about starting to learn coding, mainly just the basics. I’m interested in things like Python and understanding how programming works. I might build small projects here and there. The issue is that I only have an iPad right now, not a laptop. So I’m wondering if it’s practical to learn coding on an iPad. Can I get a solid foundation using apps or online tools? Or will it be too limiting even for a beginner?
