I was listening to Imagine by John Lennon in the car today and started crying halfway through the song.
Not graceful crying either. Not cinematic single-tear crying. More like: “Oh no. I appear to be emotionally unraveling at a stoplight.”
And the weirdest part is that I have heard this song my entire life.
I grew up with the Beatles. John Lennon was always my favorite, which honestly feels predictable in hindsight. My mom loved him too. My dad was more of a Paul McCartney person, and honestly, that tiny Beatles divide somehow explained a surprising amo
