How a Web Worker Fixed My Dying-Battery Audio (And What I Learned About PWAs the Hard Way)

I modified an open-source NES emulator to run in the browser as a PWA. On slow phones, the audio sounded like a toy running out of battery. Here is how Web Workers and SharedArrayBuffer fixed it.
