Completing a book I enjoy feels like a win for me. Like I have achieved something. It’s a small win I celebrate, not just because I want to add another book to my list, but because I actually don’t finish all the books I start. And I don’t force myself to finish any book just for numbers.

Earlier this year, I started a project called SONDER. I needed inspiration. writing realistically from different points of view, so I looked up books in that field. That’s how I found Dark Matter. This isn’t even my first book this year, but it’s one that stayed with me.

Dark Matter can be a bit confusing because, in the book, the multiverse exists. Every choice we make creates a fork in the road that leads to parallel lives. You live with your choices. Every moment, every breath contains a choice. But life is imperfect; we make wrong choices, and sometimes we end up living in a state of perpetual regret.
