There’s something very comforting about forms. Clean fields. Predictable answers. Scalable insights. You send out a Google Form, collect responses, and suddenly it feels like you’ve “done research.” But most of the time, what you’ve really done is compress human behavior into predefined options. And people don’t live like that. They hesitate. They contradict themselves. They say one thing and mean another. A form will capture what users _say_. But a conversation reveals what they actually _feel_. And in design, that difference is everything.
